Refused account - no explanation, app closed, very rude


I run a non-profit scientific research company, setup to help people with condition from MS to lupus and cancer We are registered with Companies House with a large group of members. We went through the application process, then…our app was shut for “security reasons” we got an anonymous rejection letter and we weren’t even told why. Awful, faceless tech company behaviour. Why?

I’m really sorry to hear you were disappointed we were unable to offer your business a Tide account.

At this stage the scope of companies we’re able to offer accounts to is a little more focused than your average high street bank, this means that businesses in certain industries can’t currently be on-boarded.
