Having a problem adding a nee payee

Hi. I have now tried a few times to add a new recipient and each time I am being told an SMS is sent to me but I don’t receive any messages. This is quite frustrating as it is essential for an account holder to have the freedom of making payments to payees when needed.
I am only nee to tide and I don’t want to regret my decision about opening a tide account.
Can you please help?
