Desktop and support access

If anybody can help, I’m trying to find out whether banking can be done solely online via desktop, or not. It says in the Help , ‘Yes! You can access your account from a desktop…’ then goes on to say, ‘…by using the QR code scanner found within your Tide app.’

I don’t have a smart phone, nor will I ever have, therefore I can’t run any apps.

The same question goes for support. It says there is chat within the app but is it also available to people who don’t, or can’t, run apps?

Hi @MrBook, we use mobile based software for identity verification, so our initial signup process must be completed in the phone app. Once Tide’s sign-up process has been completed, our members can access their account and our Member Support chat via the web. Sorry we couldn’t help in this instance.
